💳Buy EG using 2 Step Process

In this example, we will buy EG as a 2 Step process. First we will buy BNB with a credit or debit card. Wait for it to arrive in our wallet. We will then manually convert it to EG on EGSwap.

1. Go to https://egswap.exchange/ramp

2. Click Buy/Sell any other crypto here.

Step 1: Select Currency

1. Select Currency you want to buy with (i.e GBP)

2. Select Payment method (i.e Visa/Mastercard/GPay etc)

3. Select BNB as the crypto you want to purchase

Step 2: Enter Wallet Address

Enter the wallet address where you want to receive your crypto. (You can copy this from your MetaMask or TrustWallet app).

Click the Buy button.

Step 3: Initiate Registration

Enter your email and press Continue

You will be asked to enter a verification code. Open your email and look for this code.

Step 3: Verify Email

You will find a code which looks similar to this, in your inbox.

Enter this code back into the EGRamp application & tick the agreement to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Press Continue.

Step 4: Complete Self Categorisation (Optional)

You may be asked to complete self-registration to understand the risks of investing in crypto (standard procedure when buying via bank cards). If this is the case, follow instructions below otherwise go to Step 6.

Step 5: Complete Proof of Funds (Optional)

You may be asked to complete a Proof of Funds check based on the amount you are using to Buy crypto. If not, go to Step 6

Press Start and complete this guide.

Step 6: Add Bank Card

You will be asked to add a new card.

Enter your card details (Card Number, Expiry Date and CVV code) and click Add Card.

You will be shown a final confirmation and some fees.

Step 6: Make the Payment

If you have 2FA or additional security setup, approve the transaction in your App.

Once the bank payment goes through, you will get a confirmation via email that BNB has successfully been purchased and sent to your wallet.

Step 7: Check your Wallet

Check your wallet to confirm that the funds have safely arrived and your balance has been updated.

Step 8: Connect to EGSwap

Now that you have some BNB in your wallet, go to EGSwap to buy EG.

Navigate to https://egswap.exchange/swap

Step 9: Connect your Wallet

Click Connect Wallet

Click Connect Wallet

Click MetaMask or for Trust Wallet, use WalletConnect

Step 10: Verify your Wallet

You will see a pop up. Go to your wallet and click "Sign" on the Signature request.

1. EGSwap has built this security mechanism to verify that you own the wallet. A unique message is displayed which can be verified on your device to ensure you are connecting to the correct site.

Step 11: Buy EG

Enter amount of BNB you want to buy EG with. You can use the button to select for example 75% of your BNB amount but its always a good idea to leave some BNB behind to pay for gas fees in future, incase you want to sell. So try to enter 90 to 95% of your BNB value.

Click Swap and then Confirm Swap

Step 12: Confirm the Transaction in your wallet
