Troubleshooting

I can't find the Pool I was staking in!

You should be able to find the Pool under the Finished tab on the Pools page. Selecting Staked Only, will make it easier to find your assets.

Why did my earned tokens go to zero after staking/unstaking?

Don’t worry! They’re in your wallet already. Whenever you stake or unstake from a Pool, your earned tokens get harvested and sent to your wallet at the same time.

General Questions

What does the β€œEnd” number on my Pool refer to?

This shows the amount of blocks left until the rewards for that pool stop being distributed. Once the pool has reached that block, you should unstake your tokens, because you won’t be receiving any rewards after that.

Where do the rewards from Pools come from?

There are three main types of Pools.

  1. Stake EG -> Earn EG

  2. Stake EG -> Earn other tokens.

  3. Stake other tokens -> Earn EG

The rewards for the Stake EG, Earn EG Pool are rewarded per block. These rewards come from the EG Token Buy/Sell volume.

The rewards for the Stake EG, Earn other Tokens type are provided by the project teams who sponsor a Pool.

For the Stake other tokens, Earn EG type, the EG treasury buys back EG from the market to distribute as rewards. These pools are funded by EG, not by the projects themselves.

Is there a penalty for withdrawing early from the main EGSwap pool ?

You will pay a 5% unstaking fee if you withdraw your tokens within 30 days of staking. The 5% fee will apply to your accumulated rewards, as well as your originally staked tokens. A timer will be displayed which will show you how long the penalty will be applied. The timer resets every time you stake new EG in the pool. After 30 days, you can withdraw without paying any fees.
