# Adding MEV Protection to MetaMask

Follow the guide below to Add Mev Protection to MetaMask.

1. Go to Swap Page - <https://egswap.exchange/swap>

2. Change Network  to Ethereum
   1\.

3. Swap any token and you will see "**Add MEV Protection**" button.&#x20;
   1\.

4. Click the button and you will see a pop up
   1\.

5. Click **Yes**

6. Your MetaMask wallet will open and show you this pop with some warnings. Click **Approve**

   2\. Ignore the warnings as its just standard notifications when adding a new RPC.

7. You will be shown another warning. Click **Approve** as it is a trusted RPC via EGSwap.

8. MetaMask will now ask you to switch from Ethereum to EGSwap MEV Protect. Click **Switch Network.**

9. You should now be connected to **EGSwap MEV Protect (Ethereum Mainnet)** and any new transaction processed via EGSwap will now give you MEV Bot & Front Running Protection.

Due to the limitations on tech available right now, MEV Protection is available as an add-in via MetaMask or Manually on other wallets for now.&#x20;

EGSwap will continue improving our services and aim to add it automatically via the backend (without any user action) when technology allows us to do so.&#x20;
